LizWorld is the name given to both an interactive app and the IPTV service available in your room at Mount Elizabeth Hospital. While they share the same name, they offer different ways to enhance your stay. 


LizWorld App: This is an interactive app that you access on your mobile device. It allows you to: 

  • Learn about your room and its amenities using Augmented Reality (AR). 
  • Request housekeeping services and top-ups for amenities. 
  • Access personalised information about your stay, including your schedule, visitor information, and a hospitalisation guide. 
  • Send compliments to the care team. 
  • Share your hospitalisation information with loved ones. 
  • And more… 

LizWorld TV: This is the infotainment service available on the television in your room. It offers: 

  • A range of entertainment options, including movies, TV shows, and music. 
  • Health education programmes to help you understand your condition and treatment options.

The LizWorld app is exclusively available to patients staying at Mount Elizabeth Hospital. 

  1. Connect to the hospital's Wi-Fi: Connect your mobile device to the "MEHWIRELESS" network. No password is required. 
  1. Scan the QR code: Scan the LizWorld QR code using your mobile device's camera. You can find these codes in your ward or on the LizWorld TV. 
  1. Access through your mobile browser: The QR code will open the LizWorld app in your mobile device's default web browser. 

LizWorld offers a variety of helpful features, including: 

  • Personalised Information: Access your daily schedule, understand what to expect during your stay, and find visitor information and a hospitalisation guide. 

  • Augmented Reality (AR) Experiences: Explore your room amenities in an interactive way by scanning AR-enabled objects like your in-room safe, bed controls, thermostat, coffee machine, and water dispenser. 

  • Housekeeping and Amenities Requests: Easily request housekeeping services and top-ups for amenities such as towels, consumables, bathroom essentials, and patient wear. 

  • Entertainment: Enjoy access to PressReader and SPH, providing a wide selection of digital news publications. 

  • LizFinder: Utilise Mount Elizabeth's wayfinding tool to navigate the hospital with ease. 

  • Compliments: Express your appreciation for the care team by sending compliments that will be displayed on the ward's TV screen. 

Open the AR feature within the LizWorld app and point your mobile device's camera at the AR-enabled object. The app will then provide you with interactive information and functionalities. 

LizWorld utilises Augmented Reality (AR) technology to enhance your experience. To ensure optimal performance, the app requires a device with the following specifications: 

  • Processor: Octa-core processor with 2.0 GHz or higher 

  • Graphics: Compatible GPU with OpenGL ES 3.1 or Vulkan 

  • Memory: At least 4GB of RAM 

Recommended devices include: 

  • iPhone X and higher with iOS 16 and above 

  • Samsung Galaxy S21 series and above 

  • OnePlus 9 and above 

  • Google Pixel 6 series and above 

  • Other flagship phones with high-end processors and GPUs 

AR technology demands significant processing power to render virtual objects in real-time. These requirements ensure a smooth and immersive experience within the LizWorld app. If your device does not meet these specifications, some features, especially those utilising AR, may not function correctly. 

No, the LizWorld app can only be accessed while you are connected to the hospital's Wi-Fi network. Please ensure you are connected to MEHWIRELESS. No password is required. 

  1. Go to the "Compliments" section in the LizWorld app. 
  1. Write your message and tag the care team member you wish to compliment. 
  1. Send the message, and it will be displayed on the TV located at the ward corridor. 

Compliments are displayed on the TV screen in the ward where the tagged staff member works. This ensures that your message reaches the intended recipient and their team. 

If you encounter any problems with the app, please inform a member of the nursing staff, and they will be happy to assist you.
